Sword Hero seems pretty good for the most part. He's pretty chill and he doesn't start yeeting on people for fun. Bow Hero can't make his own decisions. Spear Hero is a dense, idiotic and thirsty fuck who doesn't think rationally. He also doesn't know that the little bitch who should die in a house fire (most commonly referred to as Myne) is manipulating him. Feel free to critique me.
so the sewer scene wasn't in the manga, I actually managed to catch up to the manga in a day now I am reading the light novel starting with volume 7 where the manga ended. The manga, if you were to start from here, would be volume 4 and chapter 15~16; 16 is the wave.
Actually, the anime is very faithful to the LN since that's what it's based off of. However, the LN has a LOT of internal dialogue that you can't fit into this type of medium as that would be not only be boring as hell but screws with pacing.
Ugh, 500 character limit deleted my previous reply. Let me just say that the shared flaw that the other 3 heroes have is that they still consider this a game. The first and second episodes practically bashed the audience over the head with the fact that Naofumi knows this is reality which is why he reacts accordingly...like knowing to get rid of corpses.
I wouldn't say he's useless. The problem is that he has an unbalanced sense of self-worth and truly believes that he is some kind of avatar of justice. This, of course, has no basis in reality even if it's literally staring him in the face.
